Bonnie & Derek
Hey everyone! I know, it has been a long time since I have blogged. Totally been slacking in that department. I guess between having a baby, living in Austria and building a house in Spokane, that is the last thing on my mind. However, here is a link to a video created by our photographer LeeAnne Jarrett of our maternity photos! She is so talented, and we love the photos!! Hope you all enjoy!! Just click on our names above to watch the video :)

Hochosterwitz Castle
Hey Guys!! We are back at traveling and feel so blessed. Derek had the weekend off, and we decided to see some of Carinthia's top attractions. (Carinthia is the state within Austria that we live in) Our first stop was the Castle Hochosterwitz. It's about 45 minutes from Villach. It is perfectly preserved and 150 meters above the valley. It has been owned by a local family since the 16th century. 14 gates lead up to the stronghold, that was rebuilt from 1571-1586, as it stands today. The castle was never conquered due to the 14 gates. It was pretty cool to explore. We rode the elevator up, and then hiked down. The valley in which the castle stands, is full of farm lands, rolling hills, and the alps off to the southwest. Pretty amazing that they could build something so magnificent, so long ago. In the United States buildings that are 100 years old, are considered old. This castle is over 400 years old. Pretty dang cool.
After touring the castle, we drove to a local Gasthaus, for lunch. No English was spoken by anyone there, but we both managed to order completely in German, and understood most of what our waitress said. We were pretty proud of ourselves. After lunch we drove to our old stomping grounds in Veldin (where we lived for the first month last season) had some soft serve Ice Cream, and let Bronxie go for a swin in Worthersee. He has become quite the swimming corgi man!

We're back!!
Hey Everyone!! We are back in Villach Austria. Got back on Tuesday. We are getting settled and adjusted to the time change again. The trip went really smoothly, Bronx did great! He was so happy to see us when we picked him up. He was definitely jet lagged though. Pretty funny. He was exhausted. Took him to the dog park today, and he was right back to his normal herding self though. He is so fun to have, and such a good companion for me. All of our luggage made it this year which was really nice for a change. (this is the first time ever!) We are going to be in a little hotel downtown for the month of August, and then we will be moving out to our new home at Faaker See. It's a two story townhouse, and I am so excited to be living out there this year. It will be nice to finally get settled, and unpack. Living out of a suitcase for a month is never fun! I am excited to get back to blogging, and start doing some pregnancy fashion. Thanks for stopping by!!

Mint Hippie
Hey Guys!! I am sorry it's been so long since I have blogged!! I have been getting settled back into work, and back to the everyday grind. I am loving being back at the salon. It's so fun getting dressed up everyday, and looking my best. I just ordered this jacket from Esther Boutique, a little boutique I found on Instagram, and I love it! Love the pattern, and I feel like it can be worn so many different ways. I absolutely love mint too, and mint pants are perfect for Spring.

How to get that "false lash look"
Hey guys!! There is one beauty product that I can not live with out, and that is mascara. I consider myself a mascara junky. But I believe a little mascara, and applying it correctly makes a world of difference. I have tried just about every brand out there, and have discovered what I think is the perfect combination, to get that "false lash look".
1. LiLash Eye lash serum - I only use this product about once a week, at night. I apply it
lightly on my lash line before bed. It is similar to "Latisse", but you don't need a prescription to get it.
$139.97 for six month supply @ http://www.lilash.com/ (this has lasted me over 9 months)
2. MAC Prep & Prime Lash - This looks like Mascara, but goes on white. I use it everyday, but only
one coat, under your regular mascara. It just helps pump up your lashes natural volume.
$16.00 @ http://www.maccosmetics.com/
3. MAC Zoom Lash Mascara - I have used every name brand Mascara out there, you name it I have tried it, and this is by far my favorite. I usually apply 2 coats of this mascara.
$16.00 @ http://www.maccosmetics.com/
