Pula and Rovinj Croatia

Last weekend we had three days off and were able to do some traveling. We spent our first night in Rovinj Croatia. It is right on the Adriatic Sea, and sometimes known as "little Venice". It was very quaint  and super beautiful views of the Sea. We stayed in a fabulous resort, right on the water. Our friends the Pratt's and Metcalf's from Hungary met us there. Saturday it poured rain, so we were not able to do any site seeing, so we took advantage of the pool at our hotel, and all ordered room service. It was so fun to catch up with our friends, and see the kids again. Hudson and Quinn are growing up so fast!!

The next day the weather was so much better. No more rain, and sunshine. We headed down to the city center of Rovinj and walked around the cute little streets, and took some photos by the water. We then headed to Pula Croatia, about half an hour further down the coast. Pula has one of 6 remaining Roman Amphitheaters. It dates back to 27 BC, and once sat more than 20,000 spectators. It is now used as a venue for concerts, and they have even held 2 Ebel hockey games there. It was pretty cool to see, and so cool to be able to walk all around it.
